Duffels and parka outerwear come in bonded wool through long and short pea coat styles. Nylon down styles in bomber jackets and longer hooded shapes create a temper of steely determination for the coldest winter days. Shirting is highlighted by 2-button collar stands, deep masculine cuffs with multi-button closures and a crisper, sharper construction in the collar and cuffs. Knitwear is key; a D.I.Y feel comes via heavy, hand-knit looks. Rugged, cable-patterned fisherman styles stand up against fine, 16-gage layering pieces and delicate cotton pique.
Jersey pieces remain important as layering items and have a more dressed and formal feel – mixing satin and mercerized cottons. In a throwback to the rock-band t-shirts of the 70s, printed t’s in V and crew neck styles feature in night-time shades with graffiti and pop-inspired prints. Denim and pants are reworked into 3 essential styles: skinny, slim and regular. Denim stays dark and raw with special grey-cast and dark indigo shades, and pant fabrics range from soft cottons to smart, fine twills.
