Haversack Spring/Summer 2011 Preview
Japan’s Haversack spring/summer 2011 collection is mainly inspired by menswear from the 30-40’s. Easy to wear, functional and well-tailored 40’s casual wear is restructured and given a new balance for an understated, luxurious and modern day wear. As always the collection is divided into three lines: the Haversack label features items deeply reflected by military uniform and hunting wear, accentuating the collection’s masculinity and elegance. In Haversack General Garments the collection takes the essence of French labor wear from the 1900’s and sailing cloths. Finally, the Haversack Attire label is influenced by the 30-40’s upper classes’ resort fashion of Riviera and Palm Beach.
